Brother Shawn Wilson is the lead minister for the Church at North Carolina. He was raised in a family that kept the Lord before him, but the passing of his mother when he was 9 years old led him to seek the Lord for himself. Brother Shawn asked the Lord to show him the purpose of life and the Lord baptized him with the Holy Ghost, which brought him great comfort and changed the trajectory of his life. From that moment forward, he began to serve the Lord and stayed connected to youth who had a similar zeal.

In 2001, Brother Shawn was introduced to the Body of Christ and was encouraged to see even more youth who were serving the Lord. In addition to reading the Word of God, Brother Shawn has a passion for music and has played several instruments including the bass, guitar, and piano. He continues to play the piano for the Church at North Carolina.

Brother Shawn was ordained a minister in the Body of Christ in 2016 and works closely with fellow ministers Brother Chris Bateson and Brother Martin Justafort to support the church. He is married to Sister Chrishana Wilson.
