Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
ACTS 2:38 KJV
We all come from different walks of life, but one thing we have in common is that Jesus saved us and blessed us with the Holy Ghost.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
ROMANS 5:10 KJV
Unlike humanity, Jesus was born with a consciousness towards God. Jesus’ birth represents that when we receive the Holy Ghost, we also develop a consciousness towards God.
Jesus’ death represents the death that took place in us when we received the Holy Ghost. Although his death began when we received the Holy Ghost, we must continually die out to the carnal nature within us.
When Jesus was buried, it represented the fact that once we begin the death process with regards to our nature, we must bury our nature so that it cannot rise up and lead us to go against God’s will
When Jesus rose from the grave, it was a picture of how we must rise from the graveyard condition that our soul was in. This resurrection represents how we must rise to a higher level of understanding and a new way of life. As we walk in this new way of life, our soul begins to mature and outgrow the nature that we were born with.
Jesus’ ascension into heaven represents the fact that when our soul reaches the state of maturity, it can leave this natural body and obtain a new body that cannot die and ascend into heaven.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
